Ouma`s Villa is a tranquil self catering guest house in the heart of the picturesque town of Heidelberg, halfway between Cape Town and Knysna on the Garden Route for up to 12 guests. It is the perfect stopover en route to or from the Garden Route and a beautiful spot to enjoy a chilled weekend or longer holiday.

Built in 1925 (with outbuildings dating back to 1860), this gracious rambling home offers 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the Main House and 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and outdoor hot and cold shower in the Jonkershuis (lit: “Young Man’s House” ). The villa sleeps a total of 12 guests and features a large secure garden with Koi pond, off street parking, a farmhouse kitchen and wonderful braai/barbecue facilities.

Fruit laden trees, privacy, gleaming wooden floors, an authentic wood burning Dover Stove, boere antiques, an impressive South African art collection, a large fish pond, percale linen and comfortable beds are hallmarks of the villa.

A selection of board games and good books serve to entertain and enrich the mind. There are no TV`s or any other electronic gadgets to ruin the rustic atmosphere.

bedroomWithin easy reach of the beach at Witsand, a short drive to Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, 5 minutes from Heidelberg Golf Course and the nearby Duiwenhoks River, Ouma`s Villa offers the visitor a range of sightseeing, hiking, 4x4 trails, leisure and sport activities.

An excellent Spar Supermarket and local shops are a short walk away.
Children and pets are enthusiastically welcomed.
