The Festival will be held at the award-winning, 5-star Sky Villa Boutique Hotel – there will be wine/craft beers/spirits and gin tastings and an adventure component with hiking, running and cycling and golf, which will take place daily from 17h00 – 21h00 on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 December.

Industry leader Paul Duverge, Managing Director of Raw Africa Boutique Collection (formerly Cape Summer Villas Boutique Collection), has announced the Collections’ latest initiative – the launch of its Plett Wine and Adventure Festival, which will take place on 16 and 17 December 2022.

“Our focus has always been about supporting local business and uplifting our community and it is with this in mind and as a precursor to the start of peak season in Plett, that Raw Africa Boutique Collection takes great pleasure in hosting, at Sky Villa Boutique Hotel, the inaugural Plett Wine and Adventure Festival. What better way to kick-start the peak season than with wine, music, food and fun!”

Duverge further explained that the aim of this annual event, which will take place on the same dates every year, is to highlight Plett as a destination, to celebrate Plett’s local heritage and to promote collaboration and a sense of community.

Invitations are going out to local restaurants and other food/drink related local businesses to be part of the festival in order to promote their establishments – create a presence, sell produce (preferably at discounted Festival rates) and have food tastings. The fee for all exhibitor stands is R 2000 for both days.
