Route57 is the home of Louis57,
the brand of international golfer and 2010 Open Champion, Louis Oosthuizen.
The beautifully restored sandstone structure built in 1906 houses a contemporary brand-themed restaurant, wine tasting area that also accommodates craft beer and gin tastings as well as a gift shop & deli with many special gifts for him and her.
The welcoming restaurant is characterised by a comfortable setting, spectacular South African cuisine and premium wines – all served with genuine South African hospitality. Specialty dishes such as the signature Crispy Pork Belly, tasty Lamb Shank, Trio of Venison, Cape Malay Lamb Curry and Marrow Bone Fillet Steak delight both local diners and visitors from all over the world. As one would expect, Route57 also serves exceptional seafood which includes their specialty Grilled Fish, Sea-Fresh Hake & Ocean Feast platter. When it comes to dessert, their fine selection is bound to satisfy any sweet tooth.
On the lunch menu you will find scrumptious light meals, delicious combos and mouth-watering burgers, including the King Louis Burger, a legendary option with Bon Blanc cheese, bacon and pineapple, served with chips.
And of course between 11:00 and 18:00 daily, pensioners can dine from Route57’s exclusive pensioner’s menu.
